Why offline games still matter

It's strange how rare a fully offline game has become. So many phone games assume you're permanently connected, and the moment you aren't, they simply refuse to work. That's the whole reason this site exists.

Offline games have a quiet advantage: they can't nag you. No daily login pop-ups, no waiting for a server, no ads that need to phone home. You open the game, you play, you close it. That simplicity is worth a lot.

There's also the practical side. Signal drops on trains, planes forbid connections, and roaming abroad can be a nightmare. A good offline game just keeps working, and it doesn't drain your battery talking to servers all day.

We're not against online games entirely. But we think the offline shelf deserves attention, because the good ones are genuinely underrated.
